2012 Australian Coloured Pencils Online Exhibition

Entries have now closed for our online exhibition, you can VOTE for your favourite artwork by voting in our Peoples Choice Award, winners will be announced 19th February 2013.

Our ACPN online exhibition has been running for the past 2 years and this year we are excited to open it up to all Australian coloured pencil Artists. You may enter your artworks into 2 categories this year and we are very excited thanks to be award 3 prize winners prizes thanks to our wonderful sponsors Creativity Unlimited who have been so supportive of Australian coloured pencil art donating the prizes for our exhibiton – We thankyou very much.

The Categories:

This year we will have two categories that will be judged, these are: Just Coloured Pencils & Pencil Mixed Media (see below for details), after the judging has taken place, the artworks will be placed online and voting will be opened for judging for the Peoples Choice Award.

The Judge:

This year we are excited to have internationally recognized coloured pencil artist Betsy Jones as our judge. Betsy is a huge supporter of coloured pencil art.
Betsy Jones is an American artist from Pittsburgh, PA. She has been drawing most of her life, and studied the fine arts throughout high school and while attending the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Working primarily in Colored Pencil, Acrylic Paint, Mixed Media, and Pen & Ink, her work is usually abstract art and is inspired by color, texture, and nature. Currently, Betsy is the moderator of the Colored Pencil Artists and Lovers on Facebook group, an extremely supportive art group. She has also been writing for the Colored Pencil Magazine this year, and has been getting involved with The Colored Pencil Project.
