Please tell us a little about how you got started in coloured pencil art.

After cancer treatment 12 years ago I attended a class with Jan Lawnikanis, whom inspired me.

What do you like about using coloured pencils in your artwork?

I can take pencils anywhere when sailing and travelling,they are for me a satisfying medium.

Which are your favourite pencils and supports/surfaces to work on?

I use matbord as i like the texture and colour range, my choice of pencils is Prisma.

Do you have any particular themes or subjects in your art? What are they and why ?

As I live by the coast the beach and coastal debris always interest me, and organic items.

Please tell us about any Awards or Exhibitions you have been featured in.

I have one 1st prize for pencil drawing in the 2009 Elanora Uniting Church Art Show
