If you love botanical art and would love to learn all of the techniques in being able to create botanical art yourself, Jacqui Pemberton is holding a workshop in October in Western Australia.
The workshop will provide the beginning botanical artist with instruction
on how to create botanical works of art on paper. Participants will receive
information on what materials to use, and tuition on the geometry of plants,
observation techniques, basic drawing and composition, elements of light
and shade, tonal drawing, colour mixing, and application and techniques
with pencil and watercolour will be given.
Jacqui is an active member of the ACPN and this workshop will be using both coloured pencils and watercolour mediums, her artwork is just stunning. The numbers will be kept to a minimum and I am sure this would be such amazing experience. Jacqui has prepared a syllabus and materials list of what you will learn through the course of the workshop and all the materials you will need.
