A BIG thankyou also our judge Ann Kullberg who has chosen our winner.
The winner is:Â Jan Lawnikanis for her entry. Jan was our featured member for December and our judge Ann Kullberg said this about her choice:
“I have chosen Entry #5 as the winner. It had everything going for it – an interesting composition, beautiful subject, accurate and sure draftsmanship and more. I am especially impressed with the artist’s ability to render both vivid greens and vivid reds without turning anything into mud at all, despite how interwoven these two colors are in the piece. Last, there is impressive handling of edges in this painting, from very crisp to very soft. All in all, a stunning image. “
Jan will be receiving a prize to the value of $115- thanks to our generous sponsors S&S Wholesale Creativity Unlimited who have donated the fantastic prizes to our winner.

Dear Joyce, Glenys, Wendy and Karen
Thank you girls for your kind and encouraging comments. I love being part of an art community where we can appreciate each others talents and abilities. There’s always something we can learn from other artists and it never ceases to amaze me what others are inspired to create! I am so glad the ACPN is growing and I hope that together we can raise awareness of coloured pencil art and inspire each other to produce work of a high standard.
All the best in your artistic endeavors! Jan
Thankyou so much for your support Jan and I agree with everything you have written.
